Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to get it removed.

Three kinds of data, and nothing collected without a use for it:
- Details you give us — name, email, phone, city, and what you post in a listing, review or enquiry
- Usage data — pages viewed, searches run, device and browser, and approximate location derived from your IP address
- Data from partners — a dealer confirming the status of an enquiry you sent them
Why we use it
To operate the platform: to run your account, publish your listings, route your enquiries to the relevant dealer or seller, personalise what you see, answer support requests, and detect fraud and abuse.
Marketing email is sent only where you have opted in, and every message carries an unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
When you send an enquiry, test-drive request or offer, the seller or dealer you contacted receives the contact details needed to respond to you. That is the point of the enquiry, and it is the main way your data leaves us.
We also use service providers for hosting, email delivery, analytics and payments, who process data on our instructions and for no other purpose. We disclose data where law or a valid legal request requires it. We do not sell personal data.
The specific list of processors is TO CONFIRM before launch.
Cookies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences such as city, language and colour scheme, and measure how the platform is used. Blocking cookies in your browser will break sign-in and some preferences.
Retention and security
Account data is retained while your account is active and for as long afterwards as law or a legitimate business need requires; enquiry records are retained for dispute resolution. We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls, though no online service can promise absolute security.
Your rights
You can access and correct your data from your account, withdraw consent to marketing, ask us to delete your account and associated data, and ask what we hold about you. Write to privacy@motor91.com and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
Grievance officer
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, complaints about content or the handling of your data can be made to our Grievance Officer at grievance@motor91.com, who will acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within the period prescribed by the Rules.
Grievance Officer name, designation and postal address: TO CONFIRM before launch — the Rules require a named officer.
Children
Motor91 is not intended for use by anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Contact privacy@motor91.com if you believe we have.
